Recently renovated, the new Xcaanda concept is a must while in Puerto Escondido.
It is located in Zicatela, on the main strip that turns into a club and runs until at least 4:00 am on the weekends.

Xcaanda is located in Zicatela right on Av. del Morro in Playa Zicatela beach.
When to visit Xcaanda
Xcaanda is open every day from 8:00 am until 11:00 pm, and 3:00 am from Thursday through to Saturday.
For its great location, this place is perfect to visit during the sunset or at midnight to dance and party.
There’s another Xcaanda restaurant and beach club in La Punta, but this venue doesn’t operate at night as every bar and restaurant in this area needs to close at 11:00 pm.
Xcaanda Restaurant & Beach Club
Xcaanda offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner which can be enjoyed while overlooking the ocean.
For breakfast, they have omelets, pancakes, fruit, chilaquiles, and enchiladas, as well as coffee, natural juices, and more. For lunch and dinner, they offer tacos, salads, burgers, pasta, and a bunch of seafood options.
Since the venue is located right on the beach, they have a few lounge chairs to enjoy the view, go swimming in the ocean, or simply just sunbathe.
Depending on the time of the year, to use the beach seating people may have to consume at least 300 pesos per person. Otherwise, the restaurant is a great option that has no consumption limits.
The prices in Xcaanda are very affordable and regardless if you are visiting for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the venue is a great place to spend the day outdoors.
As Xcaanda is located on the beach, you’ll also find locals offering crafts, massages, tour deals, temporary tattoos, snacks, and more.
Xcaanda Nightlife
Similar to Cañabrava, Xcaanda usually plays Latin music, especially reggaeton. The venue is open on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Recently, the place started to open one Tuesday of every month for their popular Full Moon Parties, where they play techno music.
Xcaanda is a three-floor club with a beach area allowing guests to dance on the sand. In addition to this, the bar area downstairs and the small platform are great areas for dancing.
The venue gets really busy every night which is why they have two bars to make the service faster. One is on the first floor and the other one is located on the second.
The venue usually has an entry fee of 100 pesos, but during special events, it can cost up to 150 or 200 pesos.
