Alaburger has a “chill” vibe large patio with big tables in a communal set-up, so it is a great way to meet and socialize with other people while enjoying the open air and good music.
The place is known all over Puerto Escondido for its grilled burgers, offering at least 10 different burgers ideal for any taste, including a vegetarian option.
The most popular burgers are the classic cheeseburger, the tuna burger with guacamole, and the fish burger.
Every dish on their burger menu comes with a side of potato wedges covered in a creamy cheese sauce and topped with parsley.
At the center of the table, you can find the rest of the toppings such as ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, pickles, lettuce, tomato, onion, and dressings to fill your burger.
In addition to this, Alaburger also has a pizza menu with a great combination of ingredients to select from.
Their pizzas are cooked in an artisanal oven for a more “homemade taste”. Their crust is very thin and they are all covered in mozzarella cheese.
Their beverage menu has multiple options like beer, fresh water, and mezcal cocktails with different flavors.
The place usually gets busy for dinner so it might be complicated to find a spot to seat. For the same reason, sometimes the service can take up to 15 to 20 minutes to deliver your food. They also play live music once or twice a week. They invite really good bands during the week.
Make sure you get early because sometimes they ran out of ingredients and all the dishes on their menu might not be available.
Whether you are after pizza or a burger, the prices go from 150 to 220 pesos, while drinks range from 50 to 120 pesos.
Their prices are very affordable with people usually spending approximately 350 pesos per person.
They accept cash and card payments with no consumption limits. Alaburger is definitely a must to try while visiting Puerto Escondido.
What is the best burger to try?
We highly recommend to try Bardot, if you are fan of blue cheese you should definitely try it. The main ingredients are caramelized onions with blue cheese, perfect match to enjoy!
If you are vegetarian or vegan we recommend you to try Pamela Anderson, the potato cheese is so good, even if you are not veggie or vegan you going to love it.
What are the best cocktails?
They offer different types of drinks but one of the favorite one is floridita, this drink is made of banana, rum, sugar and lime. This is a frozen drink.
