Hucanii is located on the beachfront between Playa Zicatela and La Punta Beach. It can be reached via either in less than a 20-minute walk or via taxi.
When to visit Hucanii
Hucanii is only open three times a week at different times, but the best time to visit is when they have some event or party.
Hucanii Venue
Hucanii used to be one of the best spots in La Punta and in all of Puerto Escondido for its amazing parties.
However, with the new establishment rules of 2022, the venue now closes at 11:00 pm as any other place in La Punta.
Nowadays, the place operates on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm during the week and from 7:00 to 11:00 on weekends.
Hucanii also has a sushi restaurant called Sushi Roll La Punta that shares the same days and working times.
Sometimes, the place opens to host parties or special events, however, they all come to an end right before midnight.
They usually host markets where people from Puerto go offer services or sell products, like yoga lessons, tattoos, body paint, or tarot reading.
