Malagua Café opens from Friday through Wednesday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The spot is a bit hidden, so it might go unnoticed by some people, but once you find it, you won’t regret it.
They have a “healthy concept” menu that offers a wide variety of delicious food and incredible drinks, such as coffee, juices and smoothies.
They offer fresh homemade bread to have with their most popular dishes, like tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwiches or eggs.
Malagua Café has great decoration, lovely pottery, and fantastic dishes. The whole place it’s very comfortable to enjoy breakfast and brunch.
Its prices are very reasonable for the food portions, but a bit expensive for the area, spending around 250 pesos per person.
The place is usually very busy, sometimes people struggle to find an available and they might need to wait a bit to get a table.
The restaurant also has a co-working space located above which is highly recommended for its great internet speed and it’s frequently visited by digital nomads.
Sadly, the WIFI is exclusive for those using the co-working space, it’s not available for regular customers in the restaurant.
Malagua Coffee Shop (Blasón)
Beside its incredible food, Malagua is known for its excellent coffee coming from the shop next door, Blasón.
The place serves coffee for Malagua Restaurant, but the Blasón coffee shop just offers the option to take it to go.
They offer espresso, americano, latte, chai latte, matcha, macchiato, flat white, and the specials, coffee with mezcal and carajillo.
The coffee shop also shares the same business hours as the restaurant.
