Although it is also a restaurant, it is at its busiest during the weekend when they throw their famous all-night parties.

Located in Zicatela near Playa Zicatela beach, when parking on the main road, the club is one street back from the beach behind another well-known club, Piedra de la Iguana.
When to visit Mar & Wana
Mar & Wana is open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5:00 pm to 3:00 am and the best time to visit is Friday and Saturday as they have well-known themed parties.
In addition to being popular for its nightlife, Mar & Wana has recently updated its menu, so their restaurant is becoming one of the most popular venues for food in Puerto Escondido.

Mar & Wana offers a great variety of food on their menu, with appetizers, burgers, tacos, and desserts. They also recently started selling the famous Mexican dish, tacos de canasta.
One of the most popular dishes on the menu is the tuna grilled burger or if you’re looking for some great tacos the mushroom Barbacoa tacos are also a favorite.
In addition to these customer choices, their menu offers different options for vegans and vegetarians, as well as exotic cocktails, such as the Hello Sunshine (rum, banana, lemon, and cinnamon) or the Golden Sands (whiskey, mango jam, orange, lemon, and honey.
Besides food, Mar & Wana offers a fantastic dining experience. The venue’s treehouse is available for exclusive and intimate dinner for eight, or guests can simply enjoy a cocktail while watching the sunset in their panoramic hammocks.
Mar & Wana Nightlife
This place holds a “mystical” ambiance, perfect for those who like the underground vibe.
On a Friday night, they usually play techno, electronic, or house music, popularly known as the “Electronic Party”.
On Saturday night, Mar & Wana hosts the “Perreo Party”, where they play Latin music, especially reggaeton.
Sometimes, depending on the season, this venue throws amazing themed parties even on days they’re supposed to be closed.
Usually, their parties cost around $150 pesos in pre-sale with a shot of mezcal included on entry. If you don’t preorganize tickets they will normally cost $200 pesos at the main entrance.
Promoters start selling tickets two or three days before the party for the pre-sale price and the PRs can be found walking around the beach or the streets of La Punta and Zicatela.
When it comes to venue prices, beers are around 50 pesos and cocktails cost approximately 130 pesos each.
