Paraiso Escondido is a tiny waterfront bar located in Zicatela offering cheap drinks and some of the best sunset views you’ll get in the area.
The bar offers cold beer, cocktails, coconuts, and snacks such as chips for more than affordable prices.
Where is Paraiso Escondido
Paraiso Escondido is located at the end of Brisas street in La Punta Zicatela right on the beach. It is easy to walk here along the beach or via the dirt streets located behind.
Although you don’t need transport to get here from the La Punta area, if you’re coming via bike or scooter there are many spots where you can leave your vehicle in the street.
When to visit Paraiso Escondido
Without a doubt, the best time to visit this awesome little venue is at sunset and it is arguably the best-valued sunset in all of Zicatela as a cold beer will only cost you 35 pesos.
Due to the bar being lesser known you’re almost guaranteed to find yourself a seat as well making it a great sunset destination.
With that being said to ensure yourself a seat we would recommend getting there an hour or so before sunset.
Paraiso Escondido Bar
Although the bar doesn’t have a menu that we can display for you here, the drink selections are quite limited as it is a beach shack-style setup.
They do however make a select few cocktails such as pina Coladas and always have cold coconuts and beer available.
Paraiso Escondido doesn’t serve food however they do have packets of chips that you can purchase if you’re looking to have a snack to accompany your drink.
The beers are more than affordable with a corona only costing 35 pesos. The venue is a family-run business and you will always be greeted with a smile.
Rated 5 stars on google, guests often compliment the venue on being a good place to cool off from the sun and grab a cold coconut through the day at the beach.
