How to get here
If you are staying in central Puerto Escondido you can walk all the way to Playa Manzanillo. Alternatively, if you are outside walking distance you can get a taxi or drive yourself right to the road behind the beach and then do a short walk down.
If you are staying in Zicatela or La Punta, either you can take a colectivo and drop you off on the main road and then you must to walk around 15min. You can also take a taxi for around 100 pesos.
If you’re staying on the Playa Principal side of the beach you can do a stunning coastal walk to get here that we would highly recommend if you’re fit and able.

Walk to Playa Puerto Angelito
Playa Puerto Angelito is connected to Playa Manzanillo and is definitely worth walking there, depending on the day the swimming conditions may be better there.
In addition to this, there is a very popular restaurant on the rocks called LOS BUZOS where you can get cheap oysters and other snacks and drinks.
