How to get there
The easiest way to get to Playa Palmarito is by car or scooter. If you head as if you’re going to Vivo Resorts the path is unsealed and there are a lot of diverging dirt paths that you can take that will get you to the beach.

Swim & Relax
Playa Palmarito has a gorgeous stretch of beach and the white sands are ideal for relaxing on. When it comes to swimming in the water it is highly dependent on the day and the current conditions.
The beach is exclusive so it is unpatrolled so caution is advised. Regardless if you’re just swimming or relaxing this beach makes for a gorgeous sunset.
Walk Along The Beach
If the waters don’t entice you or if you’d prefer to take a stroll along the beach then you have kilometers of beach usually to yourself. Make sure to keep an eye on the water as you’ll normally spot a dolphin or a jumping stingray in the distance.
Release a baby sea turtle
Playa Palmarito is home to a number of different Puerto Escondido turtle-releasing camps. These camps normally release turtles daily at around 5 pm in the afternoon.

There are not a lot of accommodation options out near Playa Palmarito currently as it is a new area under development. That being said, Vivo Resort is located out there and they are a fully inclusive resort with great reviews.
