Sativa has two venues, one located in La Punta and the other one in Zicatela beach. Both restaurants are located on the main roads of each area.
SATIVA LA PUNTA
This restaurant is located on Av. Alejandro Cardenas, right in the same place of Hotel San Martín.
This venue only serves breakfast and lunch from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm and it’s focused on a healthy menu, including bowls, eggs, and a special vegan dish.
Probably one of the most special things about this place it’s the juice bar and smoothies, with more than ten different combinations.
Prices are very affordable, for a nice dish and a regular drink, you won’t be paying more than 200 pesos for a filling meal.
SATIVA ZICATELA
Located in the heart of Zicatela beach, meals can be enjoyed either in the restaurant itself or at the low-seated tables looking at the beach and water.
The best time to visit here is around sunset as the restaurant is in a prime location to watch the sun go down. This venue’s open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm every day of the week.
Sativa also has a terrace with multiple levels to enjoy the view of the Pacific Ocean, as well as a volleyball net set up on the beach where you can play with friends while enjoying a cold drink while you wait for your food.
Their menu is ideal for everyone, as they have delicious vegan and vegetarian options, like the falafel sandwich or the Moon-rock salad.
One of the most popular dishes is the ceviche which some people have gone as far as to say that it’s the best in all of Puerto Escondido.
Another favorite is definitely the fish tacos marinated in a delicious Teriyaki and peanut sauce or their unique dessert, tiramisu with coffee mezcal.
The portion sizes are very generous and considering the restaurant view, the food is very well priced, being the most expensive dish only 195 pesos.
