The music here can vary but normally you’ll find that it is electronic/dance music. The strobing lights and the beach dancefloor make for a great night.

Chula is a cool little club that is located in Zicatela and it is normally the go-to club during the week. On the weekend you are spoiled for party options however during the week Chula does a lot of promoting to get the crowd.
Situated near the beach the sand dancefloor is a lot of fun and the drinks aren’t too expensive either. Depending on the night you go the entry is normally around 100 – 150 pesos after midnight or free before.
Xcaanda

Xcaanda is one of the best clubs in Puerto Escondido and it is perfect to dance to some reggeaton and Latin music.
We highly recommend this venue if you want to have a great night with friends, celebrate your birthday, or have any kind of group party. They offer VIP lounges to make you feel more comfortable.
Entry normally costs 100 pesos and the venue is open on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Cañabrava

Cañabrava is normally a restaurant but on the weekend it turns into an awesome rooftop club looking out over Zicatela Beach.
The venue is really amazing, but at some point during the night it might get very busy making dancing almost impossible. People will normally choose between Xcaanda and Cañabrava as they play the same type of music.
However, don’t miss the opportunity to visit! We recommend booking a table and getting there early. The entry price is 100 pesos and prices are very affordable.
Mar & Wana

Mar & Wana is an awesome club where you can find events happening during the weekend. Depending on the night normally they’ll have different guest DJs and parties going on until very early in the morning.
The good thing about Mar & Wana is that it is located opposite Cactus so you can go to either or depending on the night and what events are on. Normally the cover charge to get in is anywhere from 150 – 200 pesos.
Piedra de la Iguana

Piedra de la Iguana bar or otherwise known as just ‘Iguana’, is a club located right next to Mar & Wana. It isn’t open every night but normally only open on Friday & Saturday the party goes on until the very early hours of the morning.
If you find yourself at this club you may want to cancel your plans for the next day as the party is big. The club normally doesn’t get busy until around 3 am when people are leaving Cactus and Mar & Wana to keep the night going.
Coco-Nutz Beach Club

The Coco-Nutz is a fairly new place located in Zicatela Beach, almost next to Cactus and right in front of Piedra de la Iguana.
The place is usually an entry-free club, except for special events. It has become a new popular spot located right on the beach. Make sure you bring enough cash as they don’t take card payments.

Located in Playa Palmarito, just a 35-minute drive from La Punta you will find “El Origen”. This venue is recognized as one of the best beach clubs in Puerto Escondido.
